Since very early childhood, Barbara has been driven by the passion for music inspired by her father and her grandfather and she has continued to perform and study while nurturing her marriage and raising her family.
Accompanying herself at the piano, Barbara performs primarily as a soloist, adding others if and when the occasion requires. The very name of her business -"Music a la Carte" - reflects this versatility! From a delightful duo - with, perhaps, a violinist , a flutist, a guitarist - to any one of her energized ensembles, she layers just the right combination of additional singers and/or instrumentalists for that event - from a concert to a dance. She brings to each performance - whether solo or ensemble - a dynamism that lights it up!
Among her specialties are personalized parodies, custom-created presentations, seasonal and theme pieces.
